Citrine Castleshaw Trip

Last Friday, Citrine class visited Castleshaw to learn all about the Romans! We armoured up and practiced walking in formation, defending ourselves from the enemy in the 'Testudo' formation and learned lots of new facts about life as a Roman soldier. We then visited the old Roman fort ruins and learned about all the differnt parts of the fort. We then did some orienteering to locate old Roman relics! We really enjoyed our day out to Castleshaw, we even had the opportunity to feed the goats and see all the lambs in the field!
