Curriculum week

During Curriculum week Year 5 have been inspired by the artist Claude Monet. We looked at his work in detail and created some work in his style.  We used a variety of techniques which included painting and printing as well as collage and pastels to give texture. We linked the work to rivers ans water which has been the focus of year 5 topic.  One of his famous pieces 'San Giorgio Maggoire at Dusk' was also the focus of some fantastic creative writing.
