Curriculum Week

During Curriculum Week, we were inspired by the artist 'Jackson Pollock'. We learnt that he made very famous artwork using a technique called 'drip technqiue' and explored this through different movements. 

We were in awe of the different pieces of art and were so excited to create our own pieces. 

We explored the 'drip technique' in many different ways using a variety of different tools. We used straws to blow the paint, string to move the paint around our paper, paintbrushes to splatter the paint and even rolled marbles along the paper to make different marks. 

We then worked together to create a class piece of artwork.
