Curriculum Week

Inspirational Texts was the focus for this term's curriculum week.

Diamond Class were inspired by the text 'There's a WITCH in your book'. 

They loved taking part in all of the magical activities especially the potion making. The messier the potion, the better. The children explored straws and soap to make bubbly potions. The children loved creating their own spells and pretending they had magic. They spent lots of time dressing up and performing. 

The bubbly potions led to some fantastic pieces of artwork. The children enjoyed creating different marks with the bubbles and paint.

Diamond Class even made their own 'jelly' potion!

We were certainly inspired by the cheeky little witch in our book. 

To celebrate a very magical week, we came to school in our pyjamas for a Spooky Sleepover! Parents were invited and joined us for story time.
