Peace for our time...

Last week, Year 6 kick started their new topic Peace for our time... We transformed back to 1930's Britain to experience what life was like for children during World War II. We played some games such as hopscotch, skipping and go fish before trying handmade Fly Pie. Eventhough it has a revolting name, it was actually delicious and easy to make!

We also had to ensure that we had our evacuee labels so that we didn't get lost when being assigned new homes by the billeting officer!
