The Garden

This half term our theme has been 'In the Garden'. We have learnt all about what lives in the garden. The children have loved looking for living things and learning the names of different mini beasts. Our favourite has been 'snails'. We have been fascinated with their shells and slime. 

We have also been looking for signs of Spring and have been noticing lots of things growing in our garden. We have loved learning about dandelion clocks and making wishes by blowing them. 

We have also been very busy planting in our allotment. Every child planted a sunflower seed and we have loved watching them grow. We are so excited to watch our plants turn into beautiful sunflowers. We have also spread lots of wild flower seeds into our allotment beds. 

The garden is our favourite to be!
