The Victorians

Year 5 took part in their WOW afternoon last week.

We arranged our classroom so that we were sat in rows and adopted some of the class rules from the Victorian era to use such as standing up when a teacher entered the room, standing up to answer questions and making sure we were seen and not heard.

During the afternoon we looked at where the Victorians are placed in history, sources of evidence to see what we could find out about Victorian life. We also played some traditional games like tiddlywinks and created some silhouette images of ourselves for display.
