Welcome to Africa…

We began our WOW Starter to Africa by jumping on the plane and jetting off to the Massi Mara to learn about Tribal families and the landscape, animals and schooling in Kenya. We had first hand experts in our classroom who had already visited or lived in Africa to help share their experiences of city life in Nigeria or Kenya.

We made tribal jewellery, researched Africa using our iPads to locate it using our map skills and enjoyed sharing some national geographic magazines all about African animals.

As part of our English learning we were asked by Blackpool Zoo to create some information sheets all about Africa and the animals that live there to help other schools that visit the zoo. 

We presented our facts and also used our iPad skills to create a KeyNote presentation all about Africa. 

We are so excited for our Fantastic Finish at Blackpool Zoo... watch our for the LIONS!!!!!
