School Reopening Details - September 2020

Return to School and Breakfast Club Arrangements

We are very much looking forward to welcoming the children back in September. To help with social distancing, the children's return to school will be staggered over several days:

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club will no longer be in the school hall but in your child's classroom from 8:30am. Sadly, this means parents can no longer attend breakfast club with their child/ren.

Start of Day Arrangements

As a parent you will have to say goodbye to your children at either the main or back school gate. Staff will be around to guide the children safely to their classrooms. Children will sanitise their hands as they enter the building and wash their hands when they arrive at their classroom.

If your child is in pre-School, Nursery, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 please come to school by the main front gate entrance.

If your child is in Reception, Year 1, Year 2 or Jade class please come to school by the back gate entrance.

End of Day Arrangements

There will be a one-way system through the school grounds for parents to pick up their children. Everyone will enter school by the main front gate entrance and will exit school by the back gate entrance. Staff will be on hand to help direct parents. Please arrive at the main gate on Winterbottom Street at home time.

Monday Afternoon Closure

To maintain the "bubble system" during the Covid-19 pandemic, school will be closed from 1:30pm every Monday from 7th September to allow preparation and planning time.
